Alternator OBD1

Im doing a swap next week JDM b16a and when i was putting my engine together i noticed my OBD1 Alternator was 3WIRED and the engine harness was 4 i been looking around the web but came up short, is there a way i can convert this 3 wire OBD1 to 4 wire OBD2

Can someone give me the Color Matching And What not...Thank you first swap yes im a noob!

 

You can try to swap the voltage regulators over if they match up:

Or use an OBD2 4 wire plug and run the additional wire to your ECU using this chart:

Can I match up the colors and discharge one of the wires? Or how hard is swapping out the voltage regulator?
