trying to figure out what i need to get some better suspension under the car, Ive been searching but can't quite find what i need. so ek9 would be the civic type r suspension that requires the use of a different lower control arm? would the ek4 sir suspension be pretty much identical to it but use the rear struts that have the bolt hole welded on for use with the stock us ek lca's? where would I be able to pick up what I needed. still kind of confused on the exact naming and specs of cars from different countries at this point. Im perfectly fine with only lowering the car .75 inches. Also, would it just be easier to order the whole ek9/ctr suspension and swap the springs on different struts?

are we talking about a 96-00 civic here?

if so the ek9 is a direct bolt on and will get you close to the .75 drop you want.

 

yea apparently its the ek4 sir i thought the ek9 was a crt set up that had the strut that dropped in the lca instead of just fitting over. I just couldn't find the spring rates for the si-r no matter how hard I looked im gonna give hmotors a call today they got back to me in an email

 

That would be ITR.... Civic's haven't gotten the eye let stlye since the 80's.
