Bleeding brake 2007 TL - electronically cycling through ABS
Hello everyone, since I purchased a 07 TL base last year, i've been on acurazine then came across this forum too. it's great, and i didn't find a newbie section so,
here it goes.
this january, i went to honda delaership and bled the brake with the technitian 4 times (once with engine on, off, then cycled through VSA then on and finally off) took .6 hours and got charged $50 :D nice tech right?
anyway. the service manual says go out and activate VSA or ABS and come back and bleed again but he hooked up his laptop to OBD II and just d-d-d-d-d-d cycled through each wheel's ABS pump and apparently it does make the pedal mushy.
so i'm wondering if i plan to bleed brake every 1-2yrs, is there a way i can hook up my laptop and cycle through the pump?? or do i have to bleed once, and get on the road and be all ABS crazy and come back??
btw. honda cars are great :D my pads were literally on fire (EBC yellow) + red hot disk and the seals are fine, caliper works fine well i need new rotor anyways but. quality OEM
thanks everyone in advance
