HELP: brakes not working
car is a 1997 honda crv... one day just lost my brake NOTHING! cant even stop with the pedal and had to use my e-brake to stop... there is little to no pedal pressure... re bled the lines and samething still... brake fluid still comes out of the bleeder nut... do u think its the brake booster that went bad, 40/40 prop valve or what is it?
Brake booster failure would produce a hard pedal, you will still stop, just without power assist.
You have a leak somewhere, brake line is most likely. Could have an internal leak in the master cylinder.
Just for kicks, does the brake pedal return to full height after you press on it, or does it stick to the floor.

You have a hydraulic failure, either a faulty master cylinder, or a leak on one of the brake circuits. Get it up in the air and cover the lines front to back, and the wheel end components, calipers, and wheel cylinders.
