i can't understand your fragmented post.. is fluid constantly leaking from a bleeder?

Air in the lines. Possible bad master cylinder. Brake booster failure causes a rock hard pedal when it goes.

Happened to me, it was my brake booster, but a little different though. My pedal didn't drop to the floor, but it would sink after a bit of pressure. Check for leaks: master cylinder, brake booster, brake lines, or re-bleed.

If the booster goes bad the pedal becomes hard, and does not go to the floor.
Ever step on your brake pedal a few times when the car is off and it gets harder, that is the removal of any assist from the booster.

You can still stop your car without the booster assist, it will just require you to press on the pedal harder.

If the pedal has gone to the floor and there is no stopping power at all, and the pedal is long and soft. The MC is most likely at fault. Check for leaks and the reservoir for loss of fluid. If there are no leaks and there is no noticeable amount of fluid lost, then most likely the MC has failed.

Was there any recent brake work done to the CRV? Brake fluid changed prior to this failure?

lol this thread...

it's like someone gathered some wine connoisseurs and placed them in a large, plain white room. then dropped what looks to be a smashed grape in the center. now everyone is going crazy saying what vineyard it is from, what variety it may be.

but it's actually a small sliver of a kiwi fruit.

slowesteg.. calm down, take a step back, now fix the f'in problem. due to the likely-hood of your car not having abs, the brake system is ridiculously simple. either there is a leak somewhere (which should be immediately obvious due to the damp/wet spot around a line or at one of the corners and, i might add, most notably an empty reservoir), or the master cylinder is bad.
