b16a died today
I think I killed my B16a. It is losing power. There is brown stuff in the radiator and it is leaking oil at the head gasket. It has a new radiator, hoses, and new green coolant. Car is not overheating, but when hot it stutters between 3500 and 4000 on the freeway.
its probably just a bad head gasket man, if you really blew the motor a rod would be sticking out the side. sounds more like runability, unless you really think its blown and ill buy the whole swap for 300

someone wants a cheap swap. what the **** man. he could have blown his valves, bent them, blown the headgasket, burnt his rings, siezed his pistons, his oil pump could have gone up, his water pump could have, etc. etc. by no means does a motor have to have a rod sticking out of the side of it for it to be blown.
It's definitely your head gasket - oil and water is mixing, that's why you see it in your radiator. Try this: take off your oil cap, you might see some brown stuff on that also.
Just pull off the head, slap a new headgasket on there and you're good to go!
#1. Its a headgasket, anyone says anything else. dont listen to em.
#2. If its blowing a ton of moisture out of the tailpipe when its already warmed up, stop driving it ASAP.
#3. Check coolant levels after every drive and if it gets hot pull over and shut it off, fill the coolant resevoir and restart after 10 minutes.
#4. REPLACE IT ASAP.
#5. if its gotten really close to overheating (redline) it probably did. You'll need to have a shop check the head for warpage and resurface it if possible.
EDIT:
I forgot you said it was stuttering. That could be water/oil entering the cylinder, check oil levels as well as coolant and fix it NOW. It's so easy to destroy an engine after a headgasket starts leaking.

Had it checked today. It is a blown head gasket. I am going to do some head work.
1 Can I use the stock b16a retainers with Crower valve springs.
2 I ordered a SPOON head gasket 2piece for $160 will this raise my compression
3 Can I run my stock B16a cams with the Crower springs until I can get CTR cams.
Need info. so I can start to order and get my car running. HELP

yes, the spoon headgasket ups compression a little bit. yes, you can run crower valvesprings with ctr cams, although integra type r valvesprings are a much more logical choice, as you will not have the added stiffness the crower's provide, that you don't need. ctr cams peak around 8500, no need to keep going after that, so why get a valvespring designed to go to 10 or more? not sure on stock retainers, they might want to fail with a stronger valvespring, someone enlighten us. thanks!
