Default Getting my equipment ready to paint my Del Sol...

I just CANNOT decide which color to go with. Please Help

White

If I paint it white I'm going to paint the targa and A-Pillar black.

Black

Gunmetal

Blue (Fiji Blue)

Custom?

Was thinking of even painting it Habanero Red Pearl

Here's an Ek that was painted (no Del Sol comparison)

Might help if you posted what your car looks like currently.

"This fool strikes again".
What does it matter if he's getting it painted?

what color is it now ??? a full color change would be more expensive. but if money is no object to you, i would say the gunmetal. not a flat one either, more like a pearl grey.

It's a rattlecan black. Was an old red off factory lines.

Never owned a grey car, and can't see if they show imperfections like black.

Out of all the colors you chose I think the grey will show dirt/imperfections the least (excluding white). I've had several black cars, an Electron Blue Pearl EM1, and a red EK coupe and they all showed pretty badly.

pffff that red pearl is looking tuff. the gunmetal would look good if it was a lot darker like a charcoal and it had more metal flakes

^-- Agreed.

I love black cars and currently own one, but I hate the fact that scratches are 10x more visible on them. Not to mention they get dirty so easily.

Go with grey/silver.

How bout an original color since you have so much work done to the car. It would be a shame(from a professional painters pov) to see you go through all the work to do a color change and put a basic color on it. Im not talking crazy but something out of the ordinary. Remember color options are virtually endless.

That Habanero hatch looks awesome. If you can get your Sol looking like that, I'd say go for that color.
