2012 rebuild with Silver Surfer. Dyno Results inside.
After some issues with a bad transmission and a couple poor turbo decisions, I finally decided to get in touch with Mac of Speed Trapp Consulting, or better known on H-T as TheShodan. With his knowledge and some input from Brian of B&R Fittings, I chose to go with the Silver Surfer based off of my goal of a very streetable setup and nice powerband with a target HP of somewhere in the 400s.
From top to bottom, here we go...
GSR head
Type R cams
Full Supertech valvetrain
Portflow port and polish
Edelbrock Victor X with 68mm Professional Products TB
Assembled by Laskey
Benson sleeved 84mm GSR block
9.7:1 CP pistons with upgraded wrist pins
Manley Turbo Tuff rods (LS)
Micropolished LS crank
Assembled by Laskey
ID 1000cc injectors
-8 feed and OEM feed for return
Bosch 044 inline and Walbro 255 intank
Go-Autoworks Top mount and downpipe
Go-Autoworks intercooler and piping
Tuning was done by Jeff Davis of East Coast Performance in Jacksonville, NC and all runs were made on their in-house DynoJet.
A little hard to read, but official numbers were 515.60HP and 355.90TQ on 24 psi using 93 with a open downpipe.

The next run is more of the street setup. Not as impressive, but still fun. This was made on 19 psi using a full 3in exhaust where as the above run was an open downpipe.

Money shot...

And for *hits and giggles.

With it all said and done, the car is a blast to drive. Now I look back, it was well worth the headaches. I sacrificed some spool with the top mount setup, but it comes on so quick, you can hardly notice it.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments.
@dcmatt - Its got a pretty conservative tune as of right now. The car might see 200 miles a month. I'm not too worried about the power level. AFRs look good. Plugs look good. I might end up doing a E85 tune next. Just have to find out who has it around me.
@olddohc - I normally run a 205/50/15 ET Street. That was mainly for 350-400 range. It does have a MFactory LSD, full-race traction bars, blox drag rears and boost by gear. I'm going to start dialing it in this upcoming week, but I see myself having to go to a 235/60/15 MH in the near future.

Great numbers another Silver surfer satisfied customer for Mac. Thats a clean *** engine bay too. I need to take some time to clean mine up. Its cluttered with a/c crap though lol Good job on the build !
Congrats bro! Mac is awesome, always down to help with questions. Also will go out of his way for those that don't even purchase from him. Glad you met your goals!
