Hello So i have a 95 civic ex with a d16z6 in it. On Friday my car would not start but i figured out why. The dizzy was bad. I replaced it today with a brand new one, but I was curious. When i removed the old dizzy some oil leaked out of the head where the dizzy goes into it. Is this normal or should i be worried? I recently had my motor rebuilt so i am not sure if the leak is normal or not. Any help

 

It's normal. Just clean it.

As these guys have illustrated, your distributor attaches directly to your camshaft, your camshaft has to stay lubricated, lest it seize up and cause major problems.
