crx ac condensor noise filter connector
Thanks, but I have that diagram and I still can't find where the noise filter connector connects to. If anyone has AC in their car, can anyone check it out for me?? It's not the green round connector, but the white rectangular connector.
So you know where the connector is but can't find the noise filter? If so, what color wires does the connector have? It should have 2 Blu/Blk wires and 2 black wires. The noise filter itself is built into the connector. Post pictures.
What are the colors of the 2 wires at the bottom of the green connector in the first picture? Is there one or more wires coming out the other end of the green connector? If so, what color are they and do they go to the white connector.
Are the two wires going into the the white connector Blu/Blk?
Does the condenser fan work properly?

The colors of the 2 wires at the bottom of the green connector in the first picture is blue and black. There is 2 wires coming out of the other end of the green connector. They go into the white connector and they are also blue and black. The condenser fan isn't working. I turned the AC on and let it sit for 5 minutes, nothing.

Are there any black wires?
Do you see a Blu/Blk wire (power) and a Blk wire (ground) that run to the condenser fan motor?
Do you have a multimeter? I can tell you how to use it to pinpoint the fan problem.
I think you're right, that's probably the noise filter. I'll post a picture in a bit. Would the white connector have anything to do with the fan not working?
Did you do this:
And where does the Blu/Blk power wire from the condenser fan motor run to?
The blue and black power wire from the condenser fan motor runs to the green connector, then to the noise filter then from the noise filter out comes 4 wires, all blue/black, one set goes to the other green connector, the other set goes to the white connector. There is also one red wire that connects to the compressor.
The blue and black power wire from the condenser fan motor runs to the green connector (GC2?), then to the noise filter then from the noise filter out comes 4 wires, all blue/black, one set goes to the other green connector (GC1?), the other set goes to the white connector. There is also one red wire that connects to the compressor.
2) How may wires does GC2 have and what are their colors?
3) What color object is the noise filter? The noise filter by definition must have at least 2 black wires. Does any connector of component in that area have 2 black wires?
Power side of fan motor based on your last post:
fan motor --> GC2 --> Noise filter? --> GC1 and white connector
(arrows are blu/blk wires)
Ground side of fan motor based on circuit diagram:
fan motor --> noise filter -->G201 ground
(arrows are blk wires)
fan motor --> GC2 --> Noise filter? --> GC1 and white connector

Ok, let's see if this better explains it.
The main long wire wrapped in wire loom in the diagram in your post #2 has a single red wire, 2 blue/black wires to the white connector, from the white connector comes out 2 blue/black wires that goes to the green connector (GC1).
From the AC Condenser Fan is 2 blue/black wires that goes to the green connector (GC2), 2 blue/black wires from the green connector (GC2) goes to the noise filter, from the noise filter goes to the green connector (GC1).
The noise filter is wrapped in some kind rubber cover. The noise filter does have 2 black wires because of the split to GC1 and the white connector.
I hope this makes sense.

It's like that.
You know what, Im not sure if this matters, but I think the ac fan that I have is probably from a 88-89. My CRX is a '90, maybe that's why the ac fan doesn't have the white connector? The white connector is from the main wire harness.
I have a '91. It's the same as above. Noise filter is bolted to the fan shroud. Wires go from the fan to the green plug, then from the other side of the green plug to the noise filter. From the noise filter, wires go to the relay. If you don't have that rusty brown thing on your fan shroud, you're missing the noise filter. Easily obtainable at any junkyard.
