I'd recommend H&R or progress springs. Ive never heard anything too bad about either of the 2 companies.

I am running neuspeed race springs with kyb agx shocks. I spent $140 on springs and $280 on shocks. The ride is a little stiff, but I like it. I have never scraped the car, but on a rare occasion I will hit the bump stops. I still have a little wheel gap. This is my every day driver/autocrosser. Daily driving I set the shocks on 2 and for racing full stiff. If you want to see a picture go to http://www.konigwheels.com and check out the virtual car show. My car is in this months, the red crx. This will give you an idea of the wheel gap.

unless it's a freacking good used deal ur not gona find anything for spring and chock for around 400$ buck,
I suggest: some KYB AGX and intrax spring or ractive coilover for cheap, they perform, well let's say good for the price, ( like 250 $ at this price, don't bother about having the best)
I you want the best stick with Tein ( around 1200$, ) or Bilstein setup ( around 1400 I think, not shure though)
see ya and good luck.

coil overs are overrated. If you want adjustable ride height you will get it, but unless you have scales or some other way to set them up correctly, you can actually screw up your handling. I don't know anyone that runs coil overs that adjust them regularly. The case can also be made that you can get higher spring rates with coil overs. The neuspeed race springs are already as stiff a ride as I would want for a daily driver, and when coupled with a good anti sway bar you can get amazing handling. I am totally happy with my springs and shocks.
