I've seen this hose running from underneath my left side AT mount and i'm not sure where it goes.





I've noticed on my old transmission there is this same thing except the hose is missing.






I could never remember what its for. All I know is that when I had my trans upside down there was ATF coming out of it.


Where does that hose go to? Is it important? I don't remember taking it off my old one.

Just me but the second pic is for venting - metal tube.

In the first pic - rubber - are you sure this isn't for the vac control on the rear mount?

 

the first pic is the ventilation tube they just probably broke it off becuz on my car the vac control vacuum hose runs from the top of the engine to the motor mount no where near that part of the transmission

 

We're cool, my bad. Couldn't tell from the pic's and the lack of info on the car if the first pic was from the rear engine mount or the "end trans" mount.

 

yeah the first picture is the transmission side mount that goes conneted near the right fender you can tell by the two of the three big nuts that you can see that hold the mount to the transmission
