I have been doing some work and just wanted to double check do the two heater hoses go straight from the radiator to the engine or do they cross? Just want to make sure I put the right hose from the radiator onto the right port on the engine.

Im pretty sure they went straight but am now paranoid

 

V6 or I4?

On the 4 cylinder the upper rad hose goes to the front of the cylinder head. Then the lower rad hose goes to the thermostat housing.

V6 the upper rad hose goes to the left and the lower rad hose goes on the right (thermostat housing).

 

Im getting the small hoses confused they go from the radiator into two brass pipes near eachother. Im 99% that they go in a straight shot to the brass fittings like this:

1:2-3:4 (hoses in a straight shot)

Not like:
1:2-4:3 (hoses would cross over)

But just wanted confirmation before I screw something up.

 

You must be talking about the trans cooling lines...

If you are looking at the engine the line from the rad on the right goes to the brass fitting on the left. Then the rad hose on the left goes to the brass fitting on the right.
