Whats up does anyone know what the plastic tube is on the power antenna is for and on a 95 prelude SE?

 

to be honest i cant believe yours is still working lol

 

Well when i bought it it was broken so I go one from the salvage yard and put it on, But I was just wondering what the tube was for If it had to be hooked on somwere.

 

I noticed that pipe recently when i deleted the antenna and
welded up the hole. I think its for letting out any moisture from
rain that comes into the cable chamber, or to allow air flow for
evaporation to take place. But i'm not sure.
