Default oil burner here

Hey guys,

New here and have been looking around haven't found much about it but my 90 civic DX burns about 1 quart of oil every 800 miles. Not sure if it is bad rings or something that is easier to fix. Car has stock motor in it with almost 208k.

Lately i have noticed the gas pedal sticking to is there a way to fix that also?

Any info would be great,

Thanks

It could be the valve stem seals that are letting the oil get by

More than likely, that. ^

As for the tb sticking, pull the intake tube off and clean the tb and plate/butterfly.

A few hours with the right basic hand tools and specialty tools so the valve doesnt drop in the cylinder. Oh and an air compressor with a good steady supply of air! lol Thats most important.

Ok so now i have even bigger problems, did the front brakes because they were gone and was driving home from my father in laws house and the front driver tire fell off. Lug nuts were tight it folded the threads over on the studs and the studs are now shot. I know studs arent that expensive but now it just seems like it is one thing after another. I have been looking on autozone for a front hub assembly but they dont show anything for it so i looked on oriely's site and they only show the bearing for the front not the whole assembly they have the assembly for the rear. Is there a special part for the front "hub assembly"?
Any advice or input would be great as i need the car in running order by Monday...

i don't believe you can buy a complete hub assembly for civics. they are designed to be rebuildable i think. or that's how autozone and the lot treat it.

if your bearing was ruined from the impact of losing the tire you just need to press out your old bearing and press in a new one in.

while you have the steering knuckle off you can also press out the lugs and install replacements.
