ok so i swapped in a 95ex f22 that had 66k miles on it and my buddy will give me an auto ex ecu but its auto. i have a 95 accord so im obd1 and i just want to know if converting the obd1 accord ecu is the same as doing a p28 or p06 ecu.

 

i am a noob at p28 and p06 ecu's but i do know as long as its a obd1 cd ecu the tcu and the ecu are seperate

in other words you can use the ecu from an obd1 auto car

 

in civic ecus all you have to do is replace one resistor with a zero ohm resistor and you wont have the auto tranny cel. i want to avoid that light so i can utilize my gas saving vtec.
