Default $70 for a 2nd gen no-name Short Shifter?

my friend bought one for $70 installed.... is that good? he thinks he was overcharged.. how much did u guys pay?

i paid $65 for my B&M. my first short shifter ( no name brand ) snapped on me and cut my finger. it lasted me 3 months and i paid $30 for it.. dam POS!!
