need to do something about my H22a short block !!!

Hi, so I need help my rod is burnt on my h22 short block so i need to do something i was considering doing the frankie h22 on h23 but to be honest that requires time and all threads seem to say its a fail how can i rebuild it ? what do i need? just replace the rods? or pistons rods crank or what else? HELP!!!!!

What do you mean by "a rod is burnt" ? Did you spin a rod bearing?
Generally on these engines a piston or valve will give out before a rod gets damaged, or a bearing will spin. If you spun a bearing, it could be as simple as replacing the bearing in question.
Personally, I would say swap in a good used engine if you need the car running. If not, and you have the time, space, and mechanical aptitude, pull it out and go through it all. New bearings, seals, etc, and follow the Helms checking all specs, and rebuild.

well its at a shop and we are going to part it out and look at the bottom block its making a knocking noise so would a spun bearing make this noise?
