i bought a 91 civic si and put a ls in it out of a previous working wrecked ef. now im not getting spark i have swapped dizzys ,coils, icms everything even converted to obd1 and put a working ecu and dizzy from my friends car and still no spark. i tested the back and yellow wire on the dizzy and im getting about 2volts with the key on not sure how much its suppose to get. im not new to cars at all but this has me stumped. checked all fuses and grounds , main relay. one of the codes im getting is a code 20 for the electric load detector any ideas?

check the actual wires that go into ur main relay n ecu wiring maybe a wire broke for ur ignition.....it happened to me at the main relay n couldn't start it for 6 month I replaced everything just as u did

Make sure you have ground wires on the motor to the frame as well. Spark plugs are grounded to the motor but where is motor going to get grounded to?

You should have 12 volts on the BLK/YEL wire going to ignition coil positive, that problem is a good place to start. If you spliced start backtracking this wire using a diagram until you find your problem.

ah ok any idea where that wires goes i do not have a diagram. also i have the motor grounded in 3 places all good grounds. The fuel pump kicks on i can hear it seeing how its a walbro 255 and i am geting fuel and thanks for the help.

did that figured that the black and yellow and blue on the female clip were backwards for the male clip. depined and swapped them around and its started right up thanks. i guess i was just so angry at it. I had to take a break for a day or two.
