i just recently bought a 1995 honda accord vtec 4 cyl. what would be the best parts i could get to make sure my car runs forever? i would really appreciate it

 

OEM Honda parts will keep your car running longer than any aftermarket parts.

There are a few online stores that deal with OEM Honda parts. I have found that the dealership sometimes has cheaper parts.

As far as parts that should be replaced.... basic tune ups and routine oil changes.
Distributor cap and rotor
Ignition coil
Ignitor
Spark plug wires
Spark plugs
Air filter
Fuel filter

More in depth parts/maintenance;
Timing belt and balance shaft belt
Timing and balance Tensioners
Water Pump
Adjust valves
Valve cover gasket kit

 

Make sure the timing belt has been changed. Make sure coolant is changed/flushed (With proper coolant). Seems hondas die from one of two things. Blown head gaskets, or broken timing belts. Also, regular maintenance, oil change/filter. Plugs wires, caps rotors...hoses belts etc.
