some hardware stores sell clips in the fastners isle.

they're like 11 cents as opposed to 3 bucks a pack at honda.

redm3turbo, they are not the same thing. Just get the correct ones and be done with it.

 

^^^ depends on the store. I have a hardware store near me that literally has a 2,000 sq ft room with every imaginable bolt/nut/screw/washer...etc in it. Whatever I need, I take to them...one of the guys goes to a box, pulls it out, and measures em up/compares them til he gets me an exact match...throws em in a bag.

Im not talking about lowes / home depot /etc. Im talking like a fastenal type setup in a hardware store or whatever. Ive gotten exact matches for honda clips from interior to exterior... etc

Everything Ive ever needed, Ive been able to find. Honda clips aren't special, and probably made by the same company....im just searching a bit harder for them and paying a lot less.

true...but Honda does still carry the factory clips in stock. Why not just get the correct ones instead of searching for them? Those specialty fastener shops/stores are not located in every town BTW.
