Default Help with f22b2 header questions please

I have a 95 accord lx with a f22b2 engine. I purchased a header of ebay that guaranteed to fit but went to put it in and on the bottom where it bolts up to the cat it only has 2 bolt holes and mine has 3. Looks like all the ebay headers for 94-97 accords only have 2. But all the 90-93s have 3.

Will a header off a f22a from 90-93 accord work???

i'd take it back and get another one. Call the place you got it from and tell them what happened, they may be able to help you. But they may not have good customer service. I'd return it for another one.

Can you give us pictures of what you got? They must have shipped the wrong part.

Yes, and F22a, and F22b2 have the same mounts to the head, but it still may not lign up right with your stock exhast.

Short answer is No, the F22A header will not work.

94-97 Accords should all have 2 bolt flanges between the catalytic converter and the header. It goes to 3 bolt after the cat. Do you have any pictured of your current setup?

The F22A header will not work on an F22B2 head. The exhaust ports do not line up.
F22A = 0-0-0-0
F22B2 = 0-00-0

Even more specifically, the EX 90-93 has a different pattern than the LX and DX's.

Or should I just cut off the bottom flange from my oe piping and weld it onto the new one?

Any exhaust shop could weld their own flanges on for like $30 or so. Just make sure they weld it correctly.
