shopping for a GT28RS, anyone has glowing reviews and recommendations of their favourite supplier?
I have purchased one from GO-AUTOWORKS... he has the T3 setup as well if you aren't looking for the T25 (even though it's not on his website).

ATP is overpriced imo. Id try www.forcedinductions.com. He takes a lil while but his prices are great!
I have had great success with Mac @ Central Motive Power. They are my local dealer and have been nothing but helpful. Worth a call.

If you are talking about the "One6" shop in Illinois, stay far, FAR away from those thieving con-artists OP. Just like most of the shops in Chicago, they are a massive joke.

Yeah, One 6 motorsports. They have ALWAYS been spot on with me and a few of my buddys as well...?

seems like most have them going for about 1100-1200, and most have them supplied from the same place, ATP.
I typically buy from evans tuning. I like the e-store set-up and it gives me control of choosing which housing and options I want.

One of the side effects of a lighter pocket is going faster.
It will produce more power without loosing response at the same boost levels. It is more efficient. Thats about it.
If you are shopping for a Disco Potato at least give it thought. I doubt you are buying a GT turbo due to your budgeting constraints anyways...
Put the two turbos against each other on their site. The GT is going to run out before the GTX. http://turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/turbochargers

seems the GTX breathes better on top end. my plans is to have a driveable system, not a dynoqueen. i need midrange power, from a 1.6 litre.
