the ecu running my b18c5 has a number of 37820-P30-900 then 471-105277, how do i know if its jdm or usdm?

 

I would guess JDM based on the 900. USDM ECUs tend to have A## for the third group.

 

Not sure what ecu that's from, but i would guess its a jdm b16 ecu judging from the p30 code...search the forum or check in the all motor section.

ITR ecu's are 37820-P73-XXX.

US ECUs:
37820-P73-A02 '97 type r
37820-P73-A03 '98 type r
37820-P73-A04 '00+ type r

 

You have a JDM B16A ECU running your B18C5.
Your car is running lean. Get yourself an American ECU as posted above.

 

that number isnt a good number on honda or acura side

 

thanks guys, not sure why my swap shop put that in, but i was asking because im about to put a hondata s300 in so i guess they can retune everything. Now i know i need the one for the jdm ecu which is s300j
