what kind of gas milage do you get
There are already 100 threads about this. My old dx got 47mpg, my B16 Si gets 30-32mpg. About 300 miles per tank, but that is a bad measurement.

What do you have done to your ZC that you get 10mpg less than I do? I know it could just be driving habits, I usually only rip through the gears at WOT maybe once or twice per tank, the rest is spent 50/50 highway/city. I've only got an air intake and 2" exhaust on mine.
i get crappy gas mileage for a honda, about 250 miles per 30 bux of premium. if i milk it from full full to fumes i can get about 320. a6/z6 highish compression 90 ex transmission. i should add i don't really see a difference in mileage between shifting at 3k rpms in every gear vs. redline in every gear
My 91 DX got about 37
My 88 dohc zc I am only getting about 27 average
Both 100% stock
City I guess.
I shift when i hit 3k, and my normal driving speed is typically 2.1k in 4th. I thought I was being conservative by shifting at those rpms. Have no clue why my gas mileage is so bad.

Stock D15b1 with MPFI, 5-speed si transmission, Injen CAI, Magnaflow exhaust, and 205/55/R15 tires and I typically average between 37-42 mpg. Doing the speed limit and driving conservatively on the interstate for extended periods I have averaged as high as 49.
Mostly it comes down to efficiency and driving habits...keep your car tuned up and running properly (clean air filter, new fuel filter, plugs, wires, check timing) and maintain suspension that can rob you of power by keeping the alignment withing specs, replacing worn bushings, making sure that you brakes aren't dragging, etc. I spent a ton of money making my car efficient and reliable. If it's a beater or if you plan on doing a swap then I wouldn't put money into it to improve the fuel economy because you could spend a thousand bucks just to get 5-10 more mpg and it would take a while to recover the investment.

91 CRX, 700+hp.... about 20mpg
Never actually ran a full tank through it on pump gas. (Not on pump anymore)
DD: 93 civic sedan, stock block, hx trans.... usually 40-42mpg
