Default Motor mount AVID

I

I have a dx 1989 with a B20 and a S1 transmission. I have the motor mount AVID for this application. The left and right mount does nt fit. An haft of a inch does nt fit with the bracket on body. If i bolt a side.....the other side don t fit. Why???


I have a b16A(jdm) driver side bracket.

I don t understand......

help me ;-)

I can help you, if you have a few pics you can email to info at avidracing dot com that would be more help. What rear transmission bracket are you using? What is the part number on the box did you get? We can start with that... Let me know. Thanks

Think you need the 90-93 integra post on the driver side...

Disassemble the trans mount. Reverse the top portion. Reassemble the trans mount.

It is possible that AVID was reversed this mount?. If this change resolve my probleme.............:-)

No offense to any current AVID supporters but I had the same problem back in 02-03. Dealt with a guy named Frank and he agreed to send me replacements, then it was gonna be a refund, then it was "oh Frank doesn't work here anymore and we have no record of your purchase and cannot do anything for you". When I started working for a JDM importer in 05' we got a sales call from "Frank" at AVID trying to sell us mount kits for our swaps...Needless to say they never got any of our business.

Innovate all the way. I swear by them everyone i talked to i recommend them to. life time warranty yeah ill take that. But yes you need the post mount so try that then post pics.
