I went to the acura dealership today to check on an 02 sensor for my b18 since it didnt come with one. Well the guy comes back and tells me that a new 02 sensor for a 92 GS is $231. Ive been told that you can get them for around $80 or $85. I want to know where i can get this deal at...i dont really want to spend that much on an 02 sensor. Where can i get one for cheaper? Thanks.

There is an online source and NAPA also has them. BUT, be warned that the OEM Honda sensors are the best for our cars-period. THey last longer and will not throw any codes. As to the price, you need to join the Honda-Acura Club so that you can get a discount at your favorite particpating ddealer parts department. I paid $150 for an O2 sensor for my D16a6 and it has a list of over $200.
sigh....when will people learn that an O2 sensor is an O2 sensor. 231 dollars for an O2 sensor!!!? Thats ludacris, a 5-wire NTK WIDEBAND O2 costs that much. Why the hell would your regular run of the mill heated NARROWBAND 02 sensor cost that much??? Simple the dealer wants money, goto NAPA or Autozone and pick one up. A Bosch replacement O2 will work just fine.

go to http://www.oxygensensors.com $89.99 for stock 'style' 4 wire.
I bought mine from there about a year ago. Looks and works great, alot better than the bosch ones I bought. Don't get me wrong though the bosch ones do work.

I bought a headed 4wire bosch universal sensor for under $50 from http://www.thepartsbin.com.
The impedence across the heater circuit is wrong, so I had to put a resistor inline to get rid of the code 41. Works fine.

Bosh 1 wire Universal O2 sensor... works like a charm... my performance shop has them on 4G and even Type R's(not the 1 wire of course) and they are good...dyno proven!
autozone will sell 2 that will work for you.
A generic 4 wire o2 sensor that wont have the plastic connector on the end.~35-50
And an oem replacement one with the plastic connector for ~90 bucks. At least that was my two options when i needed to replace my damaged O2 sensor on my 98 y8 motor. My dad picked mine up for me, and he got the one with the connector for 90. Oh well that pretty plastic connector was worth the extra 55-40 bucks.

I bought an O2 sensor for my D16Z6, heated, from NAPA. It was about $75, but it is a Denso! I think the OE sensor was Denso too (at least that was what was in there), so I'm happy.

I just bought a bosch from Checker auto. 42.99. I installed it, reset the ecu..code went away. But on my way to work this morning, guess what. o2 sensor code is back again..and car started hesitating. Ive heard you get what you pay for with the bosch plugs. Obviously I did

Could also be that there is something else wrong with you car causing the O2 sensor to fail. I have had my car throw an O2 code before, but shutting it off and turning it back on made it go away.

Thats what I was thinking...because if I reset the ecu it goes away. when thats gone I get a code 20. Sensor failure. Not specific to which one though.

hparts.com for oem parts. other wise get the cheapest pile of ship single wire from any parts store, splice directly into harness. they WILL **** up in a few weeks. i keep going thru bosch ones like toilet paper. longest i had one work for was 4 months. least was 2 days. thank god for lifetime warrenty
Check prices on the LS ones. Alot of the time they are the same as GS but just a higher price. I can get 20% off at honda if you want me to see how much they are up here in the hills.
