My 1996 Honda Civic (Pictures and Story)
Well my Honda got totaled from some dumbass drunk driver. My car was parked around a corner and somehow his drunk *** didn't see it and hit it. I heard my alarm go off and ran outside without shoes. I saw him reverse and then take off. At this point I'm heated. I have already had another Honda totaled less than a year ago from a dumb broad who was parallel parked and come out and hit me from the side, totaling my car. I get in my car with my friend and start it and start to follow the guy. I'm hearing a loud scraping sound so I decide it's best to not drive my car and just call the cops. I call 911 and tell them my car has been hit and where the guy was headed. They come and talk with me and get my information and all that. Eventually we find out that they caught the guy. The cop tells me that the driver was drunk and didn't have insurance. What a bad day for that guy. His truck gets messed up, DUI, no insurance, and a hit and run. I hope he rots slowly in hell.
Anyways, I eventually decide to buy the car back from insurance and part it out figuring I can make some extra $$$. I bought the car for $2400. I got $3100 AND the car. I technically bought it back for $540 and have sold over $1300 in parts so far. Nice little profit and it has been fun parting it out!
What really sucks is having to sell all the parts I had for her in the garage. And having to forget all the plans I had for her. Oh welllll. I'll be starting a build after I graduate Wyotech.
Enjoy some pictures!

Here's my new baby Chery! (RIP rHonda)
1997 Chevy Silverado Z71 5.7L 350 V8 K&N Filter, Flowmaster Exhaust, Line-x Bed, Tool Box. Just got two 10" subs under the seat. Boy does that V8 sure sound beautiful with that exhaust though.

weird damage...and thats the gas tank side too is it?
looks like the rear quarter was held together with bondo or something.
good to hear things turned out good for ya though, and hopefully that a-hole has half a brain at least now and sees his actions have consequences.

Yeah me too! Oh I'm sure he's learned his lesson now. Those few things had to change his life drastically.
