Honestly, h22 is only worth it if you go H2B.

If you are new to building go b16. One of the best starting platforms. Plus if you start with a b16 you can go b20v or Ls/v later on. H22 is a great engine but if you plan on boosting it you will need to get the block sleeved. Also as stated above a h2b is a beast set-up. The power of a h22 and the short gearing of a y1 or ys1= amazing fun.

My stock H is mid 13's, throw a mild boost setup on it (5psi) and your in the 12's... Fast enough for me lol plus I like being on the highway doing 80 at 4500.

B18 easy swap in your car, just a few wires and a motor mount kit. Can be done
in a day, my b18c 91 si runs 13.8 on motor and 13.1 with a 50 shot. Full interior and
passes emmisions.

Got questions for you...
Straight H swap?
Boost, spray, n/a?
what track times you looking for?

Cant give you a honest answer till you answe them questions. But stock h2b will run 12.5 on slicks just sayin

don't mean to burst your bubble but keeping up with an AWD car is not gonna happen(unless said person is a shitty driver lol)

here is your h swap in a nice well detailed parts list thread with pics... enjoy...

eh i kinda disagree...

"The H2B swap is a completely different swap then with H transmission. H2B wont clear stock hood, will have to grind back of the block for midshaft clearance and tilt of the motor is way forward. Also less driver side frame rail clearance for alternator belt and will need to poud or notch frame rail or run a 1/2" Over alternator Kit and remove the balance shafts. If you have LS swap already probably have integra axles already which is what the H swap with our kit uses so the spline count is the same and will work in the hub/knuckles. What I usually recommend H2B for drag car and H trans for street and strip difference in the 1/4 mile between a short geared GSR B trans and H22 is only 3-4 tenths anything can make that up. Using the LS trans would be defeating the H2B reason because LS has long gears. Longer then H22. Please email with any other questions or wanting to purchase. Thanks-John"

please tell me h2b is still good in the ef....
