Default Buddy Club Racing Spec Damper Review

i was hearing a clunk from my spoon dampers and i had a Track event coming up so i wanted to make sure i wasn't tracking on blown suspension. I called up Jerry at Buddy Club and he took care of me and got me some Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers at the last minute! The transaction was smooth as butter and i received them just in time to install, corner balance and align my car with time to spare. The spring rates on my spoons were 16k F and 10k R. The buddy clubs i got were 12k F and 10k R. On the road these felt more comfortable then the spoons and nice and smooth. At the Track they were amazing also, I set the dampers all the way Stiff and the car felt GREAT! the only con and i'd say this is personal preference is i would have liked a little sitffer but that can be changed with a different spring. all in all working with Buddy Club has been nothing but awesome. I will be picking up a Battery and some lower ball joints from them when my spoons are worn. onto the picutres!!!!

Pics came out great! How did the car behave at LRP with such a drastic change in spring rate? Was it a little looser in west bend and the downhill given the smaller spread of front-rear spring?

Cant wait to get my EVO's installed

yes it felt a tad bit looser but still took the corners great. i was starting to play a lot and experiment with trail braking also.

im sure i could slam it if i wanted too, there was alot more room but i actually raised the car .25"-.5" in front and .5" - .75" in the rear from what it was on the spoon coilovers.

once the suspension has settled and set, how much lower is it?
also did you play with the preload or just left it default from buddy club?

No reason to preload a straight spring. It just needs to simply be held up against the top hat to keep it from floating.
