Can Type R valve springs and retainers fit in an LS head?

If so, will I benefit anything? I was thinking crower 404's at one point. With the type r springs, will I still need to upgrade the springs and retainers for the 404's?

I can get ITR springs and retainers for $100... is that a good deal?

I tried the search button, but didnt get any info.

 

last time i checked...they didn't fit...LS head fits b18A/b18B valve springs
and there is one for the vtec head...gsr/itr...
