Default Question about Integra brake upgrade

I have a 1999 GSR and I'm thinking about upgrading the brake setup. I read the sticked post by BrakeExpert but it was written for a Civic and I am not sure if everything applies to an Integra. I was wondering what kind of brake upgrades I could do for my car. I would prefer to retain the 4 lug setup I already have. Thank you.

You sure you read it? It has "Integras" right in the title.

I just wanted to say that I knew you were going to be the first person to reply. You are a sad and angry man. This is the second time you've harassed me for posting. I looked back on your posting history for kicks and every single post you make is some condescending, douchey remark.

That post was written for Civics, I wasn't sure if everything that was written applied to/was compatible with my car. That's basically what I am asking. I'm fully aware what the title of the post is, but I wasn't sure if "Integra" was just tacked on to it.

Yeah. You were the one that tried to imply AMR was Taiwanese junk. And no matter what I never resort to juvenile name calling.

Any reason you just didn't post IN the thread like everyone else that had a question about their brake upgrades? If you truly read that then you should be able to extrapolate all the info you need since Civics and Integras share a lot of the same brake components. I'm looking right at the chart and I can see that. Whatever you can upgrade a Civic with you should be able to do the same with an Integra.

The reason why I didn't post in the thread is because when people do that, people reply with, "You should make a new thread about it, no one is going to see your question buried in here." As for the AMR thing, that's your opinion and problem if that's what you thought I was doing. And I don't want a wishy-washy answer like "should work." Before I invest money into something, I want to know for sure it's going to be compatible/work. Also, with something as important as brakes, I don't want to get it wrong for obvious reasons.

Hm. I wonder what the guys over at Team Integra do when they want to upgrade their brakes?
Oh wait! This is what they do!

And bless my soul! That upgrade is listed right there in BrakeExperts chart! And, holy smokes! It's a step by step walk through of a GSR! Same car as yours!
The first search result on Google when I typed in "integra brake upgrade" as the keywords. Who woulda thunk it?

HTF is he harassing you? You did not read the entire first post in the thread. The answer is right there if you read the post.

I guess you weren't sure about this part which is quoted directly from the post you are not sure about:

I wasn't sure if there were differences between the different model levels of Civics and Integras. By that I mean, I wasn't sure if a GSR needed the same parts to make those brake setups work as a "lower level" Integra.

I'm not a member on that website, so forgive me for not seeing it. I didn't search Google, I only searched on here. Thanks for the link.

Integra brakes are Integra brakes, aside from the itr. You can swap in Mini Cooper rotors and itr calipers on for <200 bones if you want to retain your 4x100 lug pattern. Most importantly though,

A brake upgrade is not going to increase your stopping power under street conditions, and the 10.2" brakes have proven sufficient under heavier duty conditions as well.
