Hi all, have found my way here through lots of google searches, seems to keep coming up with lots of tips and good info. Im over in the uk and i drive a Honda Accord type R, comes with an lsd and fitted up with the h22a7 engine. Its a cracking motor and with a few tweeks and a self mapped p30 is pulling about 240 bhp. I am currently specing up a new build for the car as the engine is on a shade over 150,000miles and has gotten a little smokey. Currently looking into cams and piston options. Any way here's a pic of the car and i look forward to getting lots of info over here.

 

i have just clicked its in the wrong section, though we dont have acura over here in the uk so not sure why the accord type r would be in that section?

a short list of mods too,

K&N replacement air filter in a modified oem air box, fed with cold air from the front bumper
Solid fabrications 2.5inch down pipe
Solid fabrications 2.5inch decat
Full obd1 conversion, using H-Tune harness
P30 ecu self mapped using crome on an ostrich
The car has more aggressive cams than most h22's plus the fabled euro r inlet manifold.
ive also had the A/C removed, not that i need it often here in the UK.
Balance shafts have been left disconnected and the h23 manual tensioner has been fitted
