Car starts up then quickly dies.
I have a 94' Civic Si with a B16a swap in it.
The battery voltage is above 12.5 volts and NO CEL lights. When I try to start it sometimes it just dies out right after it fires up. Then when I crank it over again it just doesn't start. The engine cranks! it just never has a sustained combustion events.
This has happened before...like twice within the past 3 months and has rarely happened which i didn't pay attention to it.
I hear my fuel pump priming when i turn on the ignition but after the first no start, I didn't hear it.
If you guys need more info from me just ask.
Can anyone help?

Does it crank and just not turn on? I had a similar problem with my buddys car i was fixing, it turned out to be a faulty ecu. Not saying that thats what it is, but if you have access to another known working ecu from a friend or relative, give it a shot. Did/do you have a CEL?

I don't have access to another B16 ECU so that's out of the question
No CEL
