WTB: 98+ JDM ITR transmission (4.785 FD, LSD)
Hello guys,
I'm in the market to buy a used 98 Spec JDM Integra Type R transmission (S80, N3E, 4.785 FD, Helical LSD).
I'm looking for a transmission with great internals (no grinds, pop-outs, etc) as I will be having the "guts" swapped into a '92-'93 Integra transmission case. That being said, it doesn't matter if the 98+ ITR transmission has a cracked case.
I'm located in WA, and I'm willing to pay for shipping. I'm also PayPal Verified and ready to go. It would be great to find one locally, but one can only dream. I'd like to pay within $800 to $1200, depending on condition. I can work things out with the seller, but seeing how I'm going to spend a good amount on the rebuild, the cheaper the better. I'm willing to pay more for quality though.

It's cheaper to buy the full transmission, rather than everything individually and new. The 98+ Spec 4.785 FD is near $500 new, as well as the LSD. Add 1st-5th, reverse, all the input shafts and bearings; it adds up quick! The better the condition of the transmission, the less that will have to be done during the rebuild. I've thought about it, thanks for your thoughts.

I may have the perfect deal for you.
98+ USDM Legit R trans w/ VIN (for if you re-sell the case) and it shifts and works great. The best part is, it needs a new countershaft bearing, so i'm not asking an arm and a leg.
I hate shipping stuff, and washington is a long F'ing way. But if you gift me $900 it's yours. I should be able to pocket about $750 of that, of which i'd be happy enough with.
