Default Tein SS perch remove

Hi guys,
So I bought the Tein SS coilovers and they're awesome.
Really couldn't ask more for handling.

But I really dissapointed about the drop.
Rear lowered about 60mm and have more to go, no wheel gap, perfect.
Fronts lowered to the maximum and dropped only 30mm, and have about a 1.5-2 fingers wheel gap.
I want no wheel gap or at least a finger or so.

I've searched a lot and came only to perch removing.
Question is how is it done?
My coilovers were installed in a garage and not by me.
Can I do it by myself considering I have no tools or knowledge?
I've found a good DIY about installing and it seems easy,
but how do I remove the perch?
should I disassemble the coilover after removing it from the car?
Take of the top hats?

Thanks!

You'll need tools to do this.

remove the shock.
remove the top mount.
remove the spring.
thread the perch up and you should be able to remove it.

Very simple, but I don't recomend doing it.

Thanks!
Why not?
I don't need a locking perch since I'm at the lowest setting anyway, am I wrong?
I searched about it and people say it's fine...

What tools would I need?
sockets and wrenches or anything else?

No, if you're already all the way down there isn't much to worry about.
rachet, couple sockets, some wrenchs, alan wrench.

You could blow the shock, ride quality could and more then likely will go out the window...
I'd be more worried about blowing the shock though.

Also, removing the one perch isn't going to give you that much more drop.
