Thermostat help

What thermostat do I use for H23a vtec?

I just got an 2000 honda prelude but it looks smaller

It should just use a regular H22 one if I'm not mistaken. As long as the seals the same diameter.

well I have an aftermarket temp gauge now and we hooked it directly to battery and it reads hot all the time.

Replace the coolant temp sender on the head then plug it to that. If you ground the wire, it'll jump to red. How many wires are there for your aftermarket temp gauge?
