There's a really good chance of me getting a 03 Acura CL Type S 6sp. this weekend. But I have a couple of questions about its reliability.

I've checked the recalls for the 03 Acura CL and it seems okay. So if I get the 6sp. I don't really have to worry about the recall problems on the auto tranny right? How sturdy are these 6sp. tranny? Are there any other common problems with the 01-03 Acura CL Type S 6sp that I need to know about?

I know some cars that have precats and those tend to be a problem over time with it breaking and ruining the motor (e.g. precats on 02-06 Sentra SER Spec V were notorious for breaking, scoring cylinder walls, and causing oil consumption). Do I have to worry about this on these cars?
