can i use the civics solenoid??

 

if it plumbs in, and has power and ground, it will work

 

ok, the original one has 2 power and 2 grounds 1 pos , the other just has 1 pos and 1 ground, should i join the 2 pos wires to the 1 pos wire and the same goes to the grounds?

 

The one you're showing for the Acura doesn't look right at all. It looks like something off some '96+vehicle. Are you sure that's an EVAP Purge Control Solenoid? Remember that '96+ EVAP systems have a number of solenoids.

The Civic one should work fine.

 

i putting a civic one on a teg..less clutter.. will it work what i stated above?

 

I have a feeling we're talking about two different things. For the Purge Solenoid, your '92 should have a single feed wire (blk/yel) and a single ground wire (grn; goes to the ECU).

Either your solenoid in question is NOT the EVAP Purge Solenoid, or you're running some kind of setup that's been altered from stock.
