This is my first post here. I own a 1994 Honda Accord LX and today, after I turned the car off, the fan on the passenger side of the radiator kicked on and made an awful racket and even shook the car. It shut off after a few minutes (I waited to make sure the battery didn't get run down). The temp is running in the correct range, so I'm not worried about overheating. Yet. Would the best idea be to replace the pair of fans? And, if I replace them, does it have to be the dual system, or would a single after-market fan be appropriate. Thank you in advance for your help.

 

Does the ac work, if so turn it on and be sure BOTH fans come on.

If the one fan is "going bad" then I would replace just it.
