Default Upgrading factory ground...how is it done?

hey, could someone explain exactly how to upgrade the factory ground? I have a general idea of it, but i'd like to know from someone who understands it better. TIA.

although i haven't asked the local sound shop...i'm assuming they can do it..
but maybe i'm wrong...

on the negative part of the battery, an 8 guage wire goes from the terminal to the body, basically what i did was just add a 4 gauge wire to that to the same location......

Your power wire for your amp, should be the same gauge wire for the ground...


edit: oh yea, you can upgrade the wire from the battery to the alternator also.. If all things aren't upgraded to the same size, it's a complete waste
