shaking steering wheel!!!
well this is driving me insane and i cant explain it. when ever my d16z6 is below 1000 rpms the steering wheel shakes and the dash vibrates alittle. I could live with it but id rather fix it. Anyone have experience with this because im stumped.
Check your motor mounts and the timing. How low is the idle? Mine shakes a little when the engine is cold and is a little louder then normal, but soon as the car warms up it goes away. You might just need a tune up/valve adjustment. My freinds car was vibrating way more then usuall after he got a valve adjustment it cleared up. Good luck finding out whats causing that. I would try checking some of the things I talked about and seee if that doesn't help the situation.

This is when you're just stopped, idling...right?
This has happened to me too, in both automatic and manual Hondas. It's just the low idle that's causing your steering wheel to shake.

This is idling so im not moving. It shakes anywhere below 1000 rpms. So its at a pretty high idle. You might be onto something with valve adjustment. Anyone else.
i have the same problem while my car is idling....i need to get a valve adjustment anyway so im hopin that will fix it....i checked all the mounts and theyare fine so im not too sure
