spring rate help?

i know what spring rate is and how it works and progressive and linier and all that. what i dont know is how each feals and how much it takes to make a difference.

foudn a sight that said this...

stock ek 165/80 spring rate PP

eibach sport 310/275 spring rate PP

ground control 380/280 spring rate PP

skunk2 coilovers 500/400 LL

ok so eibach are like twice as stiff and they keep getting stiffer from there what i dont know is what is pillow fluff and what is omg i think something broke off going over that railroad track and i just bit my tongue. what is the street/DD range and what is the auto cross/ dragstrip range.
