the main difference between h22 cams and f20b cams? which one is better? not sure if i have the auto or manual version f20b, not sure how to tell, n e info on telling them apart would be great as well, so i know if i need to upgrade my valve springs and all those goodies... it is a blacktop f20b if that helps... please help, im wanting to build this thing all motor and am new to the f20b's.....

 

I've never seen a blacktop F20B.

All the ones I've seen for sale are all blue top. I read that some F20B has the Euro R cams and what not, but never confirmed it myself. Otherwise, both the H22A and F20B cams are the same. IMO, I find it pointless to replace the stock cams with another set of OEM cams with a little bit beefier lifts for that much work that you'd have to do to get them in. Go Skunk2 cams, you won't regret.

 

ok cool, thanks, which skunk2's would you reccomend, im gonna leave the bottom end stock, but wanna build the head.... what would you reccomend?

 

and one other thing, is there a way of putting in the numbers off the side of the block to tell me all the specs on the motor?
