2001 CRV Air Conditioner Issue
My CRV's air has been sporadically cooling. In some instances the air will cool during driving and at other times it will not. It can last a few minutes to a few days. There seems to be no pattern.
The blower is working fine and it and the cabin filter were replaced about 8 months ago. I had a local shop check the freon and test the system. It worked perfectly for them. The next day it was off most of the day.
Looking for any ideas about where to start with this issue.
Thanks

Funny that you brought this up...I used to have this same issue as well until I changed out my AC belt and tightened it a bit. Now my AC works all the time. Not sure if this will resolve your issue though. I know for my parents CRV, they had this same issue a few years back and I had to change out the climate control on theirs.
its possibly a problem with the expansion valve. in order to diagnose it though, you will need gauges installed on the high and low side, when the problem is occurring, in order to see if incorrect high side pressures are being reached
