Default Planning a Kswap

Already have got I list of the part needed from Hybrid Racing......So just want to see where would be a great starting point to prepare the car for the swap...Can is be done in stage or is it all done all at once ?

I envy you. I had originally wanted to do a Kswap too, but the funds just is not there, so I spent it on a gearbox swap instead.

What I'd suggest is that you do everything at once if you want to keep the car drive-able (and street-legal). I assume you got the intake and exhaust headers as well including subframe.

Try to collect all the parts before the swap. Then do it all at once. When I do the swap I'm going with a JDM K20a(most expensive), K20a2, or K24a2(torque ftw). Also, a good idea is to buy an RSX that was wrecked from the rear end for cheap as you can get a lot of parts that you need from it and then you can part it out (interior, useable body panels etc.) and make back some of your money. My ES2 is my daily driver so I'm going to have to do it all at once when I get all the parts.

The best performance is the K24 block (from a CRV) with a K20 head (Type-R with VTEC on both the intake and exhaust). This combination gives you the best torque with the right crank shaft.

That's inaccurate information. A K24A2 will still out-power that combination both in torque and horsepower.

Either way you look at it, this swap is covered in the FAQ's.
