I have 88 crx with a y8 swap. The car runs great except for a couple minor things that are keeping the check engine light on. the codes are for the map sensor and the ECT. With both codes it runs and idles fine, but when i get rid of the ECT code, my idle starts to fluxuate. I followed the wires fromt the map to the ecu and they are plugged into the correct pins. Im not really sure what to do to fix them.

And on a seperate note, when i the vtech is engaged i start to produce white smoke. Im not sure if its coming from the intake manifold gasket or the head gasket.

If any one has any ideas, I would appreciate listening, well reading them lol
