Default 94 LS problem - Overheating

Car: 94 Integra LS Auto w/ 155k miles --- 100% Stock

I've been searching the forums for weeks now, been reading multiple threads on multiple sites, have reached out to local mechanics etc.. Background of the problem: About a month ago mid july my car started leaking coolant from radiator back, had to fill/top-off everyday for three days, on the 3rd day car just shut off on me a block from home. Car would not turn on, no lights, no crank or anything!.. Eventually it turned out to be a loose wire connected from the ignition to the back of the radio (unnecessary wire) ripped it out replaced IGN 50A fuse and started right up. Replaced the radiator with new one, new rad cap, re-fillled coolant, believe i bled system as warmed up and topped off till no more bubbles came up.. Car overheated again, noticed radiator fan does not come on UNLESS i put the ac on. Jumped the ECT switch (the one on the thermostat) fans turn on, so i replaced the ECT switch w/ new one. Still overheats. I replaced the thermostat w/new one. checked Fuse, was good. Swithced heater core relays and fan relays and nothing... Re-filled coolant and bled again. Still the fan does not come on and it overheats. noticed a tiny bit of white smoke at the exhaust , but once it warmed up didnt come back?.. The top rad hose gets HOT, the bottom is warm but can still be held not too hot.. (good friend told me this is the water pump not flowing enough water, sugg. to replace - will try this next)..Also mentioned to adjust the ect switch pins, possibly not making contact. Any other ideas!!? help me out HT..

Check your grounds? There's one on the radiator as well.

if the fan is not coming on, and the switch was jumped and activated the fan, then replaced and car still overheats with no fan operation, there are only 3 possibilities
a) faulty fan switch out the box
b) poor connection at the switch
c) gauge is reading inaccurate

thanks for the tips.. figured I'd come back and update in case others have similar problems. After a replaced radiator and rad cap.. It ended up being air in the cooling system.. I failed to realize the 94 b18b1 had a bleeder screw. Once the air was properly released car ran fine, BUT then a coolant hose burst, followed by another coolant hose... replaced both and car runs fine now..
