will a 1.6 head fit on 1.5 bottom end thaks

 

you'll need to give more info. Also use the search button to look for a 'mini-me' What model 1.5L? and are you going for a vtec head? z6 or y8? etc.... need more info and alot of this has been covered before.

 

my motor is a d15y8 i am inline to get the top have of a 1.6 16valve non-vtech head for free a buddy of mine was hit in the side of his sol and said that i could take any off the motor that i wanted to as long as i replaced it with something

 

Hum, not sure of the improvements a non-vtec head will give, most do the head swap on 1.5s to add the vtec. Its also possible that swapping his entire engine in might give you better results. Site tight on the thread for an answer from someone who might be able to give you more info.

 

I really don't understand as to why you would want to do this. No VTEC? Explain more please.
