Default CRX evaporator assembly SUPER cheap - OEM Honda

Just a FYI for anybody that has their A/C still in the car.

For about the price of a new expansion valve you can get the whole evaporator assembly (which includes the valve) brand new and original Honda from here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261076589013...84.m1439.l2649

I bought 2 of them for my rexes. At a price of $34 + $12 for shipping, that's pretty much unbeatable.

Just thought I'd share it with the community

That's what I thought. The expansion valve itself costs more on Majestic than this entire assembly.
And I can vouch for it being real OEM. I bought one and this is no cheap aftermarket part from China

wow
that is a sweet deal.
would be nice rather than cleaning and recleaning 24 year old evaporators (which i have done on a few cars already this year!).

They have the 1st generation CRX evaporator assembly even cheaper at $29 and brand new Sanden compressors for $120

Having access to surplus stock must be a great thing

Just got my second one I ordered in today.
I have to say, nothing beats a nice OEM part. What a difference to aftermarket parts.
